- Buffers
- The gap after a piercing is part of the piercing. It is set per service and it blocks the diary, but it may run past closing — cleaning up after the last client of the day is not something a client books.
- Per-piercer hours
- Somebody who works Tuesday and Thursday is not offered on Saturday, even when the shop is open. Their hours are bounded by the studio's, never the other way round.
- Deposits that follow the booking
- Move an appointment and the deposit moves with it. Recorded per payment, with refunds as their own entries — a client's money is never edited after the fact, only added to.
- Consultations
- A service marked as needing a consult first cannot be booked online at all. The studio gets a call instead of a surprise.
- More than one shop
- Services, staff, hours and time off are per location. A piercer booked at the other shop is busy here, which is the sort of thing only a system that knows about both will notice.
